Why is mgs 3 rated m

T he Story is crazy? Make better with the whole MGS universe!! Respect To Other Players who take this game with honor. Another great kojima work. With videogames, one should trust the majority. This game is really exciting and the story has you trying to guess whats gonna happen next and then surprises you.

I havn't had this much fun playing a game in some time now. And i play a ton of games, so thats saying something. Once i started playing the game i couln't put it down. Not many games have the kind of I havn't had this much fun playing a game in some time now.

Not many games have the kind of gameplay that MGS3 has. Another reason would have to be the fact that kojima cut down on the cutscenes compared MGS2. With less cutscenes the games storyline flows better. This game is friggin incredible. My Game of the Year. As far as pure action gameplay goes, MGS3 is far superior to its predecessors. The best part for me was exploring the jungle environments for animals that you could kill and then eat for stamina.

I also enjoyed the new camoflauge system, great concept. Sneeking on the ground through underbrush, then picking off a guard with your tranq gun, then slashing on the ground with your knife was great fun.

The plot is sometimes convoluted and the scenes drawn out too much. Overall, this game is awesome. Things like different kind of snakes, frogs, birds, fish catching them all is tricky specially on higher difficulty. Kojima is a bit influenced by the critics, especially with the legendary cobra units, the characters like the fury, the pain, the fear, the end, was not thoroughly explained backstory of superb characters which is quite sad, i really love long cutscenes of mgs2 character explanation.

A must buy game for excellent gaming experience. The best Metal Gear Solid game ever. The Cobra Units is my best part. This game is both for parents and kids.

This game provides fun for the family. This is an excellent game. I was blown away by the the first one but the second was didn't really do it for me. This one has come back to blow me away again.

The story line and th eway it's told are brilliant. The camo and the various types of terrain add a lot to the game and show a great deal of originality. The last two got a bit tedious with all the bulidings, rooms and This is an excellent game.

The last two got a bit tedious with all the bulidings, rooms and corridors. Not so here. The boss battles are pretty good and the whole package feels right. Great job by Konami and Hideo.

MGS3 is one of the most incredible stealth games ever released. The only problem is the bad dialogue. But that doesn't matter because the gameplay is what matters, and MGS3 does gameplay right. This game is really great. I had a hard time getting in to it right from the start but once I beat the prologue I was hooked.

Please don't just play the first level and think its too hard, keep playing and you will be glad you did. Still a game worth playing but worse than MGS2. The camera is now frustrating. It was still fine when a radar was available but now it is too easy to get spotted because of it.

There are too many things that break the rythm of the game stalking, camouflage, eating, curing wounds I love this game! It's awesome because it's actually set way before the first one. I've beaten all 3 of them. This game is great I also think you all will agree with me that this stealth title is much better then the Tom Clancys Splinter Cells games.

This brings so many new things to the table and executes them to perfection. Hideo Kojima is an excellenet developer and i hope this isnt the last of the MGS series.

This This game is great If you want a game that will suck you into the storyline and keep you hooked then check out this game, you wont regret it. I wasnt much of a fan of the previous 2 installments in the "Solid" series, but this one is amazingly excellent and engrossing. Easily one of the best PS2 games out there. Doesn't worry: this is the best game of PlayStation 2 and the a shot in the head of Xbox Fanboys.

The Largeness and the perfection are gifts in MGS3 and perhaps either therefore that this game brings as many feelings in the players. So far I have played three of the big games of this season Halo 2, Metroid Prime 2 and MGS3 and this game was probably the most enjoyable of the them.

I can't stress enough how much I enjoyed this. The jungle environments and the 60s cold war era feel are just really well done. I have been to this part of the world and they really nabbed it. The story is decent, yet addictive, with So far I have played three of the big games of this season Halo 2, Metroid Prime 2 and MGS3 and this game was probably the most enjoyable of the them.

The story is decent, yet addictive, with the highlights being the intriguing characters of The Boss and The End. I reccomend playing through the game with no-radar and force yourself to clear each area without getting spotted.

It is just time to upgrade to 1st or 3rd person frontal view. It interefers with some of the early boss fights and generally makes sighting enemies who are right in front of you! Managing the selection menus gets old fast. Also it would have been more classier if The Pain and The Fear had better dialogue.

Something about The Fury swaring when you shoot him was just dead on how boss dialogue should go. Lastly, if you nuke an area then return to it later in the game it would be totally devastated not peacfully intact after Virtuous Mission. I thought it was really good and the graphics were amasing. This game is not for panzies like you, you autta stick to games like Marykate and ashley and olsen go horse riding,or,learn the alpha bet with barbie. You obviously are a newb gamer, because this is the best game ever made.

That goes for you too,Chris p. Fun game play. Some akward camera angles unlike the first two, and cheesy dialog. But hey, it wouldn't be a MGS game without the cheesy dialog. This game is realy great control graphics end the action en stealt is also this game is the best game that i played in my life. This is the best game EVER. The story is incredible, and it fills all the gaps about the metal gear story. Big Boss was so right I just wished they made a game were he would took over the world.

Get it, you won't be disapointed. Revolver is the best, make a game just for him and eva! It would be perfect! Hey Chris P. I think you were playing this game on very easy because this game on Normal is like a real mission because if you get spotted somewhere like a base you screwed and Ryencoke you retard Snake can swim. I don't know what to say Eve disabaying snake souldnt happen in the game and i completed it in one day point to short and when you have to walk eve thats rubbish.

The game was vary cool but the movies were to long. One of the best games i have played to memory. The whole feel of it and the story is the best. Music is awesome because it makes the game feel right. This game is really good.

The graphics are excellent. The sounds are breath-taking. The story-line is fabulous and gives the whole sense to the game. The stealth actions are really good and seems so realistic. The way Konami has included a moden story into a jungle is so good. The small details of the game shold be given attention because it makes the game what it is. Boss Battles are This game is really good.

Boss Battles are fantastic. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is recommended to everyone who likes stealth games with a little bit of action and adventure. The Game is fun and enjoyablee. A bonafide classic! This is no game, this is an experience! Together with subsistence the best game ever created for the sixth generation consoles.

MGS 3 is perhaps the best video game for the PS2. It has original gameplay that offers tons of replay value, interesting characters and an amazing story line.

Although the controls of the game can be cumbersome at first once you get used to them the game really takes off.

The game is survival but if you just want to sneak changing the game mode to easy or normal makes that feature almost MGS 3 is perhaps the best video game for the PS2.

The game is survival but if you just want to sneak changing the game mode to easy or normal makes that feature almost none existent. The game feels real, there's a huge amount of realism, you heal wounds, hunt animals, lose energy, look through sights to aim weapons rather than everyone having a laser pointer, enemies react differently depending on where they're shot and so many more innovations.

Hideo Kojima makes a gmae that fels like a movie, the cut scenes are long but entertaining and if your a fan and sometimes even if your not the story sucks you in. The greatest thing about metal gear is how it's compatible with most gamers, if you want to be a real spy, you sneak distracting enemies then quietly sneak by or holding them up at knife point for information, if you want to be an ak welding psyco grab some ammo, some rockets and shoot everything that moves and doesn't move.

The 5 difficulty settings very easy, easy, normal, hard and extreme are basically to raise or lower the realism and offer replay value up the ying yang. The game is fun, innovative, with gripping story line a pure classic master peace. Perfect Snake Eater pushes gaming to the next level on the PS2. Just play it once and you will know what you.

This is a case of a game being too good. People are becoming jaded and most gamers still think that mindless blow-em-up games are the best ones.

How many games out there really change things? If anyone remembers gaming over the last 25 years like I do there have been a handful of games that changed the genre and Metal Gear for NES was a big leap!!

Then on the day metal gear solid came out This is a case of a game being too good. Then on the day metal gear solid came out and the fist time anyone fought pcycho mantis people nearly pissed themselves. Mgs2 was completely lost on anyone who has a normal IQ and Mgs3 is so good its confusing most people. Whatever you can say about Hideo Kojima he has to be the single most important person in video games today. Once again Metal Gear raises the bar in terms of what to expect in terms of video game storytelling.

No other game provides a better mix of story presentation and excellent gameplay. Compared to any Splinter Cell game and their torrid single-player campaigns, complete with the extremely linear gameplay scenarios, laughably bad hit detection, broken AI, and awful animation. All these make Once again Metal Gear raises the bar in terms of what to expect in terms of video game storytelling.

All these make MGS3 look absolutely fantastic, especially some of the environments, which are pehaps the most beautiful on ANY console. Don't let any Splinter Cell zealot with some stupid fanboy agenda try to spin you away, MGS3 is worth a look from everyone. This game is sick, i picked it up the day it came out and im hooked, ,the graphics are unbelievable, and it has a brilliant story.

Thumbs up Kojima and company. A Masterpiece! Nevertheless this may be the finest example of great graphics on the system to date, a living breathing environment where you feel so inmerse that you could almost fell the moisture arround you.

Unfortunately the classic MGS camera falls short to this extraordinary setting and gameplay, even if Kojima stated that they wanted to keep it this way for the trilogy finale. Great storytelling, the best in the series for me, cool characters, and a lot of subtext and details to keep you hooked for a long time.

I was never a fan of the Metal Gear series. I had started on MGS1 too late, and found the graphics put me off. You might be surprised that this game isn't an Xbox game when you first see it on the TV. It looks great and while it does have some telltale signs of being a PS2 game, it's still absolutely gorgeous.

Except for the slow first few hours of the game and an occasionally annoying camera, MGS 3 is damn near a perfect game. Combines great stealth action with a superb storyline and excellent visuals. There has never been, and will not be for a long time a more convincing and immersive game released. We'd like to say that Metal Gear Solid 3 is on a par with the original PSone game and in many ways it's much better, but it also feels like it has been left behind in some fundamental areas by the likes of "Splinter Cell.

All this publication's reviews. Detroit Free Press. Not since the movie "Rambo 3" have we seen such cheesy dialogue and a storyline so over the top that it can be comical.

That's fitting because the plot also borrows heavily from "Rambo 3," or at least the worst parts of it. User Reviews. Write a Review. The boss battles are pretty good and the whole package feels right. Great job by Konami and Hideo. Snake Eater has my favorite storyline of any game ive ever played. I have never felt such a connecting to a story before. The gameplay is Snake Eater has my favorite storyline of any game ive ever played.

The gameplay is some of the best in gaming if not the best. A classic if there ever was one. Quite franckly, the best computer game I have ever played. Well, since I played the first MGS!!! Probably not. It has an adult rating for a reason, though. Graphic violence, bad language, adult themes. This game is over graphic. Nudity, sex and tons of violene. This game is fine for any mature 13 year old and up. The game gives the player to become the CEO of a company and deal with the « stock market » so it is a good teaching opportunity.

The violence is equal to or less than Call of Duty or other similar shooters. From the Big Shell to the end of the game, Raiden is the only character you control, he was very criticized for replacing Snake and also because of his androgynous looks. The Big Shell was real. It was a simulation, not virtual reality. The events actually happened. The content of this game is suitable for persons aged 18 years and over only.

Big Boss was captured by FOX and taken to the peninsula, where he was imprisoned and interrogated. Ultimate characters, and stated that « bringing Snake in Smash Bros.

Hideo Kojima has crafted a string of classics over the decades, but The Phantom Pain is without a doubt his magnum opus.

The roar likely is a part of their aggression towards the target their pilot focuses them at.
